As a Registered Nurse for almost twelve years, the decision to go back to school for my Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate was not an easy one. Within 24 hours of expressing my interest in the program, I received a call from my Bradley Enrollment Advisor who I spoke to about my personal and professional goals. This helped me finalize my decision to attend Bradley online. I know that the FNP-C program at Bradley University is a 100% online program; however, I don’t feel like I am just an online figure.

As a student in the DNP-Leadership program, the first few days of classes have been excellent. Transitioning to an online learning platform is much easier than expected. I’m loving technology in the classroom – the first week we completed a video presentation and it was a fun experience. The faculty are readily available to answer my questions and give feedback.

The online component is great because I work night shifts right now. I can get online day or night and complete my assignments. What I enjoy most about Bradley is the faculty. All the faculty have been easy to contact and answer emails within 24 hours. I contacted one faculty about concerns I had and she came up with solutions that will help the students during courses, as well as, prepare us for the nursing certification boards. The online program is a great way to complete your education and meet your goals by allowing students to learn in their own communities. I have found my clinical preceptors all within my local community. Bradley University has many options for choosing clinical opportunities that allow students to choose a specific preceptor or environment to learn.
