Rachel Bridgewater
Assistant Professor of Nursing
Rachel Bridgewater-Downs joined the Bradley University Department of Nursing as an adjunct faculty member teaching med-surg clinicals in 2015.
In 2016, she joined the faculty as a full time Clinical Instructor of Nursing. She currently teaches at the sophomore level, as well as in the Master’s program online.
Professor Bridgewater-Downs received her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Bradley University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bradley University as well. Before coming to Bradley, Rachel worked on Oncology at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
For the past three years she has been the treasurer of the local Sigma Theta Tau chapter. At this time, Professor Bridgewater still works as a med-surg nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center as well.
