Biography

Dr. Jabari Adams is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). He completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Adams has served in community health organizations, early literacy programs, K-12 schools, after-school programs, collegiate counseling departments, and in clinical counseling private practice.

Dr. Adams has taught counseling practicum and internship courses, school counseling, brain-based interventions, substance-related and addictive disorders, multicultural and social justice counseling, counseling theories, mental and emotional disorders, research and statistics, career development, ethics in health and human services, and professional orientation to health and human services.
