Biography
Bridget joined the Bradley University Department of Nursing as a full time Assistant Professor of Nursing in August 2015.
Professor Welker received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from OSF College of Nursing, a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Illinois Central College. She is board certified as an FNP through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Before coming to Bradley, Professor Welker worked as an FNP at the UnityPoint/Proctor Express Care Clinic in Pekin, IL. and at the Family Quick Care Clinic in Peoria, IL. Past work experience also included working as a registered nurse (RN) on the acute rehabilitation floor at OSF St Francis Medical Center Peoria, IL. a as a dental hygienist for Dr Robert Wynn.
Professor Welker is a proud mother of three and coaches fast pitch softball.
